Start Date: 28 April 2019
Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm
With: Jake Winkle
Dorset based artist Jake Winkle is an extremely accomplished watercolour artist and the co-author of the successful book ‘Light and Movement in Watercolour’ published in 2012 by Batsford Ltd. Inspired by light and movement, his paintings are a reflection of the world around him and have made him the winner of his category, and best in show at the Marwell International Wildlife Art Society’s annual exhibition on two occasions. Jake was also a finalist in the Daily Mail ‘Not the Turner Prize’ competition, then in 2009 the winner of the St Cuthberts Mill award for best watercolour at the Society of Equestrian Artists exhibition at the Mall Galleries, London.
So why not let Jake guide you through this exciting opportunity to put ‘LIFE’ into your wildlife studies, through the use of colour and dynamic brushstrokes. You will have complete two paintings to be proud of by the end of the day, and explored a variety of painting styles.
