Painting the East Anglian Coastline in Acrylics & Mixed Media

Start Date: 13 May 2019
End Date: 14 May 2019
Time: 10:00am - 4:00pm
With: Glyn Macey
Cost: £170.00

Join Glyn, an award winning artist, and author of best selling art books ‘Acrylics Unleashed’ and ‘World of Acrylics’ at the Old School Studio for this new two day workshop. Glyn will be working on a special project with Marine Conservation in 2019, and will be painting his way around the coastline of the British Isles. Whilst he’s in East Anglia I’ve been very fortunate to secure the services of this talented artist for a weekend of learning and having fun!

So let Glyn guide you through the essentials of good composition, plus the creative use of colour, and the basics of enhancing your finished paintings with the addition of paper collage, texture mediums and lots more to create depth and excitement in your work!

The workshop commences with a short demo and talk about the materials, before starting work on your own painting with support and individual tuition from Glyn. Each day will conclude with an opportunity to review your progress and share your thoughts with the other students and Glyn.
