* ALL MATERIALS INCLUDED *
Join well known artist and conservationist Vic Bearcroft for this unique one day workshop which will focus on the exciting and varied aspects of working with pastels on velour pastel paper. (Click here to see samples of his work.) Capture the beauty of this domestic cat’s colouring and markings in this pastel work-shop, and learn the secrets of creating soft fur textures in pastel, which is one of the strong points about using velour paper.
Vic will also discuss the importance of using reference photos to create atmospheric art-works, including techniques and tips that can be applied to using photos of not only your own cat or even cats, but that of other domestic and wild animals you may wish to paint in the future.
The day will conclude with an opportunity to review your progress and share your thoughts with the other students and Vic.
